The “Community Safety Ecosystem” functional module has been developed and implemented as part of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Analytical Platform. During wartime, the speed of information delivery, coordination of services, and access to up-to-date data directly impact people’s safety and community resilience. That is why digital solutions in the field of public safety are not merely technology today, but a vital element of national resilience.
As part of preparations for the IV International Summit of Cities and Regions “Partnership. Resilience. Readiness,” the team at State Enterprise “INFOTECH” conducted extensive work on developing the “Community Security Ecosystem” module as part of the “Automated Analytical Platform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs” information and communication system.
The company’s specialists not only updated the system’s functional capabilities but also updated and verified information regarding key components of public safety throughout Ukraine, including: video surveillance cameras, automated traffic violation detection systems, panic buttons, territorial units of the National Police of Ukraine, police stations, community police officers, police patrols, educational safety service officers, units of the State Emergency Service’s Civil Protection and Rescue Service, units of the volunteer and local fire departments, community rescue officers, territorial units of the State Emergency Service, shelters, safety centers, State Migration Service offices, and territorial units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Civil Protection and Rescue Service.
The team at the State Enterprise “INFOTECH” paid particular attention to the visual representation of security objects on the map and the creation of informative security profiles for regions, districts, local communities, individual facilities, and officers.
In addition, the system’s user interface was completely revamped. This made working with the EBS more intuitive and user-friendly, while also laying the technological foundation for further scaling and development of the system’s functionality.
The “Community Security Ecosystem” module helps create a unified digital environment for monitoring security facilities, facilitating interagency coordination, and supporting management decisions at the national, regional, and local community levels.
For the State Enterprise “INFOTECH,” the development of such solutions is part of a systematic effort to create a modern, resilient, and secure digital infrastructure for Ukraine.
