Unified digital departmental telecommunications network

The main task of building the state's digital infrastructure is to meet certain requirements, and this requires professional experience and skills.

The team of the State Enterprise "INFOTECH" has repeatedly participated in the implementation of state programs of informatization and automation. At the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, our team proposed a solution to modernize the unified digital departmental communication system. After obtaining the necessary licenses and permits to carry out work related to state secrets, according to the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine No №37 in 2019, INFOTECH was appointed as the administrator of the UDDTN.

The UDDTN ensures the functioning of a single integrated communication space of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:

• delivery of information circulating in the UDDTN;
• management;
• interaction between the units of the UDDTN entities;
• integration of functioning disparate communication networks of individual UDDTN entities.

Key solutions for the modernization of the UDDTN:

• improving the quality, speed, and security of information exchange for National Police officers through the use of modern digital equipment;
• expanding the range of services and promoting them to lower levels of the NP structure;
• ensuring high network resilience in emergencies by redundant equipment and creating backup communication lines;
• reduction of operating costs for maintenance through decommissioning of outdated equipment and maximum possible centralization of maintenance and operation of newly installed digital equipment.
