State Enterprise “INFOTECH” continues to develop the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ digital ecosystem. The latest phase involved the implementation of the unified online system “Payment Hub”—a centralized solution for generating, processing, and managing payments for administrative services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centers.
In the first phase, the system facilitates payment for vehicle registration services. In the future, its functionality will be expanded to include other administrative services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centers.
After a service is processed, the administrator generates a single payment document with the necessary details, and the customer can make the payment by scanning the QR code on the generated invoice. The system automatically populates all the details—no errors and no manual data entry! At the same time, the option to pay through any bank remains available.
The “Payment Hub” automatically calculates the amounts of fees and taxes, minimizing the risk of errors during payments. For vehicle purchase and sale transactions, a mechanism has been implemented to automatically allocate payments between the seller and the buyer in accordance with established rules.
Before being rolled out for full-scale operation, the system successfully passed pilot testing at the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service centers. Following this, the “Payment Hub” was scaled up to cover the entire territory of Ukraine and integrated with all Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers.
The creation of the “Payment Hub” marked another step forward in the development of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ digital infrastructure. Centralized payment processing, integration with banking services, and a unified interaction mechanism ensure the reliability of payment processes and lay the foundation for the further development of the Ministry’s digital services.
