More than 39,000 online payments during the first weeks of operation have confirmed the effectiveness of the “Payment Hub”- a digital solution developed by specialists at the state-owned enterprise “INFOTECH” and implemented in collaboration with the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The service provides a unified digital payment mechanism for administrative services related to the registration and re-registration of vehicles and is already operational in all 142 active territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Unified Digital Payment Mechanism
The “Payment Hub” automates the entire payment cycle when obtaining an administrative service—from generating an invoice to confirming successful payment.
When applying for a service, the system automatically determines the list of required payments and fees and generates a single invoice. An administrator at the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ service center generates a QR code, which the citizen scans with a smartphone and uses to make the payment via an electronic payment service.
Once the transaction is complete, the system automatically receives payment confirmation, allowing the administrative service to continue immediately without the need for paper receipts.
What has changed
The introduction of the “Payment Hub” has made it possible to digitize the payment process for registration services and standardize it across all Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers, ensuring the continuity and speed of service delivery.
Thanks to the implementation of this solution:
-invoice generation has been automated in accordance with the administrative service;
-the risk of errors during manual entry of payment details has been eliminated;
-instant electronic confirmation of payment has been ensured;
-a unified digital payment process has been implemented across all territorial service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Development of the Solution
The successful implementation of the “Payment Hub” confirmed the effectiveness of the digital mechanism created and laid the foundation for its further development.
Currently, the State Enterprise “INFOTECH,” in collaboration with the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is working to expand the scope of the service. The next step will be to implement the “Payment Hub” for other high-demand administrative services provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Further development of the solution will enable the use of a single digital payment mechanism for a greater number of government services, ensuring an equally convenient, fast, seamless, and transparent process for obtaining administrative services.
